Scouts BSA Troop 44 is chartered by St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lititz, Pennsylvania. However, Scouting is a non-sectarian organization, and we have boys from many different churches in the Troop. Troop 44 is part of the Iron Forge District of the Pennsylvania Dutch Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
We have a great program for boys starting in 5th grade and we welcome any boys in the area who are interested in Scouting. Our Troop currently has around 25 scouts and we meet every Wednesday night at 6:45pm at St. Paul's.
Scouts BSA is a outdoor-oriented program that instills values such as citizenship, teamwork, honesty, respect, responsibility, fitness and much more, while being a lot of fun! We want the boys to have a great time, while giving them the opportunity to lead and grow along the way. We also believe that an important part of Scouting is giving back to the community through community service projects.
Our Troop's activities this year have included camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing and much more!
